Research shows that subspecialty radiologists and the rapid delivery of radiology interpretations improves patient care and lowers healthcare costs. The vRad® Total Quality of Patient Care supports you in providing great service to referring physicians and to emergency departments (EDs). Together, we will avoid delays in patient care and shorten time to diagnosis and treatment.
Subspecialty radiologists
Two thirds of vRad final interpretations are read by one of our 105+ subspecialists. vRad’s proprietary order-routing software automatically seeks the best-suited subspecialist for the right read the first time.
Average final report accuracy of 99.91%
Accurate diagnosis the first time improves patient care and helps avoid complications
Rapid average emergent turnaround times
Speed matters in improving patient outcomes. In addition to slowing patient flow through an ED, delayed radiology results can reduce the quality of patient care.
Quality is more than a goal or a commitment at vRad. Made up of five reading radiologists, our Quality Assurance Committee oversees the entire process to ensure interpretation accuracy. The committee reads reports every day to ensure accuracy and reliability.
The QA committee follows protocol under direction of vRad's medical director, Eduard Michel, M.D. Any discrepancy is reviewed by at least one QA committee member. A member of the Committee provides written or verbal followup with the client, if requested. Our QA Process is accredited by The Joint Commission.
