vRad Provides Cardiac CTA Interpretations
To help extend or launch your cardiac imaging function and improve patient care, vRad has expanded its portfolio of teleradiology radiology services to include cardiac CTA (computed tomography angiography) interpretations.
Cardiac CTA is quickly emerging as a valuable imaging procedure at hospitals and medical facilities nationwide due to its ability to help physicians more easily identify and diagnose cardiovascular conditions, such as atherosclerosis and lumen stenosis. It is likely this trend will continue as the prevalence of these cardiovascular conditions increases and the technology behind cardiac CTA further evolves and becomes more precise.
Our more than 20 cardiac-trained radiologists (ACR guidelines / ACC level II & level III certified) are available to provide emergent and non-emergent cardiac CTA interpretations on a preliminary and final basis, day or night. Additionally, our radiologists are trained to interpret cardiac CT images from the latest multi-slice scanners using leading visualization technologies, such as Vital Images' Vitrea® software.
