Our Radiology Services clients receive full operations support from our knowledgeable call center staff, who are always available to review orders and help resolve any issues in real-time that may hamper turn around times or quality of reads.
Quality Assurance
Quality patient care is our number one priority. Virtual Radiologic's outstanding Quality Assurance Committee is comprised entirely of radiologists responsible for overseeing the quality of services performed by our physicians. Any discrepancies between a Virtual Radiologic read and client read are addressed immediately and appropriate action is taken to limit or eliminate such occurrences in the future.
Turn Around Times
One of Virtual Radiologic's standards of measurement for customer service is turn
around times (TATs). Turn around times begin when a patient's study is received
in its entirety at our servers in Minneapolis, and end when the report is signed
by our radiologists. The chart above represents the average daily turn around times
for emergent preliminary reads for Virtual Radiologic customers since May 2006 (using
a 30-day moving average). While the generally accepted turn around time for emergent
interpretations is 30 minutes, Virtual Radiologic strives to provide reports necessary
in emergent care settings within approximately 20 minutes from receipt of order.
