Gary Weiss, M.D.
Medical Review Officer, Co-Director of Quality Assurance
Dr. Gary Weiss is a principal radiology consultant and presides over Virtual Radiologic's Quality Review Committee as the Medical Review Officer. He also is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology and the Hawaii Radiology Society.
Dr. Weiss has been an American board-certified radiologist since 1983, with extensive emergency imaging experience including 15 years at a teaching hospital/level 1 trauma center in a large private practice in central Florida. He joined Virtual Radiologic in 2002.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Weiss received his
doctorate of medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine.
He completed residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of South Florida,
and a fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging/musculoskeletal at the University
of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
